Happy St.Patrick's Day Eve :)

The sproutlets were out sick yesterday, so no lunches posted for them, and only 2 for today. They all did go back today, but Bella wanted the pizza on her school's menu. They wore green so they wouldn't get pinched, even though I told them they didn't have to worry since St. Patrick's Day isn't until tomorrow - but Bella said they should just in case someone wanted to get a pinch in early, since they wouldn't get the chance tomorrow. OK then. I gave them each a necklace of green shamrock-shaped beads to wear, for good measure :)

Here are Beanstalk & Pickle's lunches:

• Granny Smith apple

• Flag of Ireland yogurt pretzels embellished with melted & coloured white chocolate morsels

• Shamrock-topped yogurt made by placing a cookie cutter on top of the yogurt, scooping some out from inside the cutter, colouring it green, then putting it back in and carefully removing the cutter.

• Green & orange Goldfish crackers

Pickle has a peanut butter sandwich of course, with a shamrock shape cut from it, and a mini Hershey bar to make it more fun. I looked for a bigger cookie cutter, I know Wilton makes a large Comfort Grip Shamrock, but I didn't find it anywhere in my town. I did order one online for next year though  :)
