Pickle's Man on the Moon

Last night when I tucked Pickle in, he told me he wanted a creative sandwich for lunch today, then described his idea.  He wanted a man on the moon. He was very clear about how he wanted it to look and I was impressed! This morning, I made it just as he instructed, and I think it came out adorable. He loved it! And I love that it was all his design :)

I packed his Man On The Moon sandwiches in his yubo lunchbox, but instead of the square yubo container, I used a repurposed container given to me by my friend Ludicrous Mama of Biting the Hand That Feeds You. I believe it was the packaging for this petite pie mold :) It makes a great sandwich box!

Pickle also has an orange vanilla Chobani Champions Greek yogurt, and Chobani vanilla Greek yogurt in the small yubo cup,  sprinkled with golden sugar "stars". He'll have one with lunch and one for snack.

Sprout doesn't have school today so I let Bella borrow her yubo lunchbox:

She has cantaloupe in a moon-shaped silicone baking cup I found at Dollar Tree, star peanut butter sandwiches, a little yellow cup of almonds, cherry tomatoes, and space shaped Goldfish crackers.
