Happy 181st Birthday Lewis Carroll! I love nearly anything to do with Alice in Wonderland, so I'm very excited about today's linky party & can hardly wait to see what everyone links up! I made this muffin tin meal for my girls:
One of my favourite quotes from Alice in Wonderland, and fitting for this muffin tin meal, which came together cup by cup, with no forethought, and very little groceries to choose from. I'm quite pleased with how it came out, considering! I especially love the raspberry roses ♥"Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.
"I don't much care where--" said Alice.
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go," said the Cat.
"--so long as I get SOMEWHERE," Alice added as an explanation.
"Oh, you're sure to do that," said the Cat, "if you only walk long enough."
The cheesy Chesire Cat grin was a last minute addition :)

So in case you didn't catch it all, I'll recap (and link to everything I used).
Oooh perfect spot for another quote:
"Begin at the beginning," the King said gravely, "and go on till you come to the end: then stop."Very well :) Clockwise-ish, this heart-shaped muffin tin has blueberries with "Eat Me" & pink flamingo picks, chess-board apple hearts with a mushroom pick, a cheddar Cheshire Cat smile, baby carrots with a white rabbit pick, cheese sandwich heart embellished with fruit leather & another "Eat Me" pick, raspberry "roses" on flower stem picks, & another sandwich heart ♥
And, a Drink for Mum!
Haha, no, I'm not really going to drink it... it's part of my collection!
Love the quotes and your cute lunch!
ReplyDeleteOf course I love your lunch. What a fun birthday party this will be!
ReplyDeleteLove how everything ties together. Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteEverything is mah-volous as usual! :) Thanks for putting together the linky!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful lunch and I love your "drink me" drink!
ReplyDeleteCute! Cute! Cute!
ReplyDeleteWhere Did You Get That Can????????? It's AWESOME.
ReplyDeleteYour lunch is cute too - I love the raspberry roses! I've linked up an old Muffin Tin and bento I did ages ago (we've done many - we love Alice around here, too). But if you want to see some not-so-healthy Alice treats, I also recently posted some cookies: http://sugaryflower.blogspot.com.au/2013/01/ballerina-alice-cookies.html
I saw your cookies post! Your decorating skills are amazing. I hoped you would link up! It's one of the reasons I chose to do a Linky rather than organize a Hop !
DeleteOh, the drink, from the candy store, last summer. It's cherry flavoured! Want me to look out for another for you?
DeleteSo cute! Love the post and the linky. That can is awesome!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful lunch!! N I love that can drink!! :)
ReplyDeleteThe raspberry flowers are adorable. Such a fun muffin tin meal!
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get that Alice beverage? Are they still available?
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you could still find them, it was years ago.
