May Day!

Today is May Day! Birdie's preschool class is going for a May Day walk down our town's main street delivering flowers to local merchants, she's so excited about that! She wanted a DIY pizzable lunch again though and as I've posted that lunch twice in the past week, I'll spare you the repeat :)

Instead I'll share this fun flower garden sandwich made with FunBites. I forgot to post it last Spring.  It is "Throw Back Thursday" after all!

It's a very simple cheese sandwich cut in bite-size cubes with my FunBites square food cutter. Then I stuck colourful flower bento picks in each one, like little party hors d'oeuvres. That's it, so easy & so fun!

Birdie liked it so much she didn't want to wait for me to take a picture!

What a performer! Instant crocodiles tears when I told her not to touch it yet!

And instantly the tears disappeared when I said she could eat it now :)
