Review & Giveaway : EasyLunchboxes Get Around

If you follow my blog, you know that EasyLunchboxes are the bento lunch containers I use the most. Here's one of my favourite EasyLunchbox lunches:

I like that photo because you can see all the colourful lids :)

What do I love about EasyLunchboxes?
  • They're a healthy alternative! EasyLunchboxes make packing fresh, nutritious, waste-free school lunches simple and fast.
  • They're better for the planet!  Reusable containers reduce the amount of trash my family makes. We've been reusing our EasyLunchboxes for 9 months now!
  • They're economical! They save me money week after week since I'm not buying disposable plastic baggies and/or single serving snacks. And they're sturdy, so they last.
  • They're convenient! One container and one lid means less cupboard clutter - and they nest, taking up even less space.
  • They're easy! My kids have no trouble getting the lids on and off, and there's only one container and lid for them to keep track of.
I love our EasyLunchboxes, they're the best!

But don't just take my word for it...
Some of my fellow bento bloggers took their own  EasyLunchboxes out and about to show you how much they too love them :)

  1. Sarah of Bentoriffic's EasyLunchbox, on the beach in Sarasota, Florida!
  2. Bentoriffic again, and a Gulf Coast sunset :)
  3. Nina of Mamabelly's Lunches with Love on a cold day in Connecticut.
  4. Ludicrous Mama of Biting The Hand That Feeds You aka EasyLunchboxes #1 Fan, in her back yard, near Seattle, Washington.
  5. Mr. Biting The Hand That Feeds You / #1 Fan took an EasyLunchbox to the Mirage, Las Vegas
  6. Keeley of Keeley McGuire Blog at the supermarket in Michigan. Her EasyLunchbox is all buckled up for safety! They may be inexpensive, but she's still not taking any chances with losing hers ;)
  7. Bobbi of Bobbi's Bentos on her snowy front stoop in Minnesota.
  8. Jenn of Bento for Kidlet by moonlight in Dublin, Ohio.
  9. Karen of What's In John's Lunch Bag & What's In Mom's Lunch Bag
  10. Candy Girl of BentOnBetterLunches (me!), on a (rare) snowy morning on Whidbey Island, Washington.
  11. Sailor Boy aka Mr. BentOnBetterLunches took an EasyLunchbox to Las Vegas too! He did not run into Mr. Biting the Hand, but he did take it to the Stratosphere :)
  12. Mr. BentOnBetterLunches' EasyLunchbox again, visiting the Graceland Wedding Chapel, where a young Sailor Boy married his Candy Girl (me!) in the same place where Rock Star Jon Bon Jovi got married, woo!
  13. And here's one taken by JeeJee of Bento USA by All Things For Sale, on a picnic near the Bay Bridge in San Francisco, California:

Even Kelly Lester, the Singing CEO mom behind EasyLunchboxes, took her own EasyLunchbox on an adventure - to the theater in Los Angeles, where she was performing in the hit production of the Tony Award-winning musical Spring Awakening!

My favorite thing about Easy Lunchboxes is how the spaces help me with correct portions. My family has made big strides in eating cleaner this year, but portions are still a big problem for us ... except at lunchtime! I always feel like my kids (and most recently my husband, too) are getting a perfect lunch everyday!

(Maybe we should start eating dinner out of our ELB'S! It's a thought!)

  2. I love how stinking sturdy they are! We got our first set 2 years ago and they are still going strong. We've lost a few plus the cooler bag to the school lunch monster *kind of like the sock monster in the laundry I think* so I could use a new set! :D

  7. My oldest daughter can be very regimented with things (and the opposite with others, like cleaning...but I digress), especially food. She needs to know what to eat first, next, last. So, EasyLunchboxes make it easy for her to "schedule" her meal, as opposed to having everything in ziplock baggies for her to organize herself. Plus, each compartment is just the right size for just about everything. I even pack my husband's lunches in these handy containers!

  8. Ive never tried them but I love the concept and plan on purchasing some. The idea of only one container to clean is incredible! We also like its earth friendly qualities.

I sadly do not own your lunch boxes...I have been following you on fb for some time and love everything you are about. I have been watching you on all of the mommy saver site for when you sell your products with them. I love how you post pictures of meals. I have been making some of your ideas at home and the kids love them. My oldest is in preschool so I make your idea lunches so my toddlers are not begging me at my feet for lunch. Thanks for the opportunity to win!!!!

  10. I love that these lids are so easy to remove - I think my boys would be more likely to finish their lunch if it was all in 1 box instead of 3 separate ones!
Stackable boxes are also much desired in a kitchen with little space! :)

  11. I love EasyLunch Boxes because I can put together a stack of lunches for my daughter in culinary school, my husband to take to work, and my son to eat at home, and they all look good, keep well, and keep tidy. I'd love another set!

My youngest daughter is an 'all day snacker'. She starts Kindergarten at the end of August therefore ending her snacking days. These would be great at giving her the feel of snacking while only being able to eat at her designated lunch time.

  64. I like the fact that the boxes allow for great portion control. I find when I make my daughter's lunch I try to pack way too many items in them and she ends up complaining of being stuffed or frustrated because she can't eat all of it during the lunch time. What better way to teach kids to eat healthy AND the appropriate portions?!?!

I follow you on facebook but also we love your containers. My son has aspergers and they are so easy and organized for him to use at school. I also use them and take my lunch to work in them every day. I love packing our lunches in them every day as much as we love using them.

  84. I visited ELB's website and I fell in love with it because it comes with multi colors lid which makes it easy to identify which lunch box is for whom. It's divided into compartment so as the sauce won't mix with the other food. It's sturdy and reusable. It's leak-proof and yet easy to open for kids, and best of all the containers nest on each other, making it space saver. Also, it's lightweight and has a carrying bag of its own. How cool is that? Now I want one of these for my family. Perfect!!

  89. I've had my eye on these for a while! We just made big changes in my daughters eating habits (even working with a registered dietician) and packing food to go has been my full time job lately! I would love a set of these! I love that they have compartments and different colored lids... since somedays (like yesterday) I have two different meals to pack for two different kids (oh the joys of having older kids who have activities that run from right after school until nearly 9:00pm). I have liked easy lunchboxes on fb, and followed on pinterest and twitter.

  97. I love my ELB, my 4 yo has been using it for 2 years now and I especially love how easy it is for him to open and how all his choices are right there (not in a bunch of plastic bags) and how you can add a yogurt, or fruit, or anything else on top of the container but still in the bag. Ours are still good, but I would love to get a new bag!
