Autism Awareness Lunch Punch Giveaway!

Did you know April is National Autism Awareness Month in the United States?

If you follow my blog, you probably already know that my 8 year old, Pickle, has autism, and likes to eat a peanut butter sandwich every day. Today, April 2nd, is World Autism Awareness Day! Pickle's having puzzle pieces made with one of the 4 puzzle shaped sandwich cutters in our Lunch Punch Match & Munch set.
One of my bento blogging friends also made an autism awareness lunch for her kidlets today:

Pickle can be such a funny kid. Just last Saturday, when I made him a cute sandwich and took a picture of it, he was annoyed, and informed me that my hobby was for school days. But yesterday when I was making his lunch, he told me, "You can be creative if you want. You can take a picture too."
"Oh?" I asked, "How come it's okay today?"
"Because, you like being creative. You're my best mum, I want you to do what you like, so you can have a good time."
I love him ♥

I made him a turtle sandwich. I messed up the face, and the legs (upside down crowns) don't look quite right, but I think it's cute. Kind of small though...

...so I made him another one. When I was making the turtle sandwich, I found a ladybug crawling on one of the pieces of bread (that I'd just cut, so it must have just flown in). Pickle very carefully relocated it to a leaf on his bean plant outside, then lost sight of it and got upset, begging me to get him another ladybug. So while he was eating his turtle, I made him a ladybug sandwich. This time I didn't mess up the face :)

These two are #100 and #101!  I reached my goal! 

I've made 101 different peanut butter sandwiches!

When I first challenged myself to make 101 different peanut butter sandwiches, Kiersten of The Lunch Punch generously offered to donate any sets I didn't have, to help me achieve my goal ♥

 I already had the puzzle piece shaped Match & Munch set, but when the big box from The Lunch Punch was delivered, there was one in there anyways - and we don't need 2, so I put it aside for Autism Awareness Month, when I planned to share it with one of you! Reaching my sandwich goal just made it an even more perfect time!
